A charming property in the historic centre of La Laguna. The rooms were clean and comfortably furnished. The bed in the first bedroom was also comfortable, with spotless sheets, although the pillows were more like overly soft sofa cushions than actual pillows. The first two nights were very cold, but the electric heater in the living room worked well. There are also three oil radiators in the bedrooms that can be easily moved elsewhere if needed. Bear in mind that it isn't advertised as central heating: if it's cold, you'll have to close the doors (and at night, the shutters) of the rooms you use to keep them warm, but we were fine. The location is wonderful, with all of La Laguna's sights as well as some excellent restaurants, and also supermarkets for the basics and a bakery, all within a comfortable walk. The only real problem was the front door, which needs a good push (or three!) to open when it has rained. This ought to be fixed; it had already been pointed out to the owners before.
