It's a splendid apartment, very bright and spacious. It's well equipped and furnished with everything one would need for a short stay or, in our case, a longer one of several weeks. The beds are comfortable and there's lots of wardrobe space, plus a large en-suite bathroom and a separate second toilet and washbasin. The terrace, quite large, offers panoramic views of the mountains, with the peak of Teide in sight when it's not cloudy. There are plenty of sun loungers at the pool and this area is rarely crowded. Diana was a lovely host who visited us during our stay in the apartment. The apartment is on the second floor, with lift access, although there are a few steps to climb to reach the door. It's located in a very secure and quiet complex, well maintained, and the common areas, stairs, corridors, etc., are cleaned to a high standard. The residential part of the complex is connected to a large shopping area with a good-sized supermarket open every day. The surroundings are beautiful, with a lush planting of subtropical flowers and shrubs, including the bright red flowers of the African tulip tree. There's a very good selection of cafés, bars and restaurants a few minutes' walk away, and there's a regular bus service that goes down the hill towards the livelier part of Puerto de la Cruz; taxis are cheap and there's a taxi rank opposite the complex. It's a place we hope to be able to return to in the future.
